Meet the Jamaican Scholars

The International Samaritan Scholarship Program in Jamaica provides holistic support for students from preschool to tertiary education. There are currently 81 scholars in Jamaica supported through this initiative.

Students in the program are from Riverton Meadows, Callaloo Mews, and other underserved areas. Support through a holistic approach includes tuition, uniforms, supplies, food, travel subsidies, mentoring, and health and wellness support.

Scholar Spotlight

Kalou Rhoden

Cassem Barker

We are delighted to share that Kalou performed exceptionally well on his recent exams. His hard work, discipline, and consistent effort have truly paid off, reflected in the impressive results he achieved.

Kalou’s strong performance is a testament to his dedication to learning and his commitment to academic excellence. We are proud of his accomplishments and confident that he will continue to build on this success in the terms ahead .

Because of how well he did in his CSEC exams and with a monetary donation from a surgical practice in St. Louis we were able to purchase a laptop for Kalou to celebrate this milestone.

“Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” — Robert Collier
